This excursion will take you to the highest reachable point of Etna. Starting from “Rifugio Sapienza” by cable car, you will reach an altitude of 2500 meters. Then you will continue to “Torre del Filosofo” - the base of the summit craters at an altitude of 2900 meters - with 4×4 off-road vehicles, from where you can admire the Valle del Bove depression and the splendid Ionian coast. A special mention must be made for Taormina, the pearl of the Ionian Sea, with its beautiful natural landscapes such as the enchanting Isola Bella, with the remains of extraordinary monuments left by ancient civilizations such as the magnificent ancient Theater. Not to be missed are also Palazzo Corvaja, the Fortress Cathedral, the Badia Vecchia, the Palazzo Duca di Santo Stefano and much more. It will be possible to shop in the exclusive shops that alternate with the artisan shops. The second stop not to be missed is Castelmola, where you can visit the ruins of the Norman walls and Piazza Duomo with the Mother Church and walk through the characteristic streets of the town. You cannot miss an espresso in the famous Turrisi bar. Last, but not least, Giardini Naxos, the “small Taormina”, where you can make beautiful boat trips to discover the bay of Taormina (Grotta Azzurra, Grotta dei Coralli and Grotta dell'Amore) and the Isola Bella nature reserve. You will be fascinated by the Grotta Azzurra, where a game of reflections creates a backdrop of a unique and exciting color.

There are many wineries in the area that allow you to make excellent tastings of Sicilian wines, accompanied by prepared sommeliers that will make you appreciate the complexity of the Etna grapes, all with a taste of typical products.

Donkey rides give the opportunity to know the Etna area in a definitely fascinating and suggestive way. An ancient and genuine way to taste the magical places of our volcano, following paths at the rhythm marked by the donkeys' hooves. The walks vary in duration and itineraries.
